Dents out, paint untouched
A trolley ding in a door skin used to mean pulling the trim, getting a rod behind the panel, and hoping. Glue pulling skips all of it: a dab of hot glue, a plastic tab, a bridge that stands on the good metal either side, and you wind the dent back up. The glue releases with alcohol and the paint never gets touched.
Read this first: what glue pulling will and will not do.
It works on shallow, round dents in a panel that still has its shape — door dings, hail, a knee in the wing. It does not fix a crease, a sharp edge, a dent over a brace or a body line, or anything where the paint is already cracked. Pulling on cracked paint takes the paint with it.
It takes practice. The first few pulls on a real car are how everyone learns that too much glue is worse than too little. Try it on a scrap panel first if you can.
Piece counts are mostly consumables. “86 pieces” is not 86 tools. Most of the count is plastic tabs and glue sticks, which you use up. The tools in the box are listed below, one by one, so you can see exactly what you get.
Bridge lifter
Winds the dent out from the good metal either side
US-plug glue gun
Both kits here are the US-plug version
Tabs for the shape
Round, oval and rectangular, several sizes
86-piece adds
Slide-hammer bar, mallet, tap-down set and a bag
What you get

Clean the spot, run a bead of hot glue on a tab, press it into the middle of the dent and let it go off. Stand the bridge on the good metal either side, hook the tab and wind until the low spot comes up.
Spray alcohol, twist the tab off, scrape the residue. If you have pulled a touch too far, that is what the tap-down set in the 86-piece is for.
Set the feet wide and the bridge spans a broad, shallow dent without pressing on it. Bring them in and the same tool works on a ding the size of a coin.
The maker publishes no pull force, so we do not print one. What matters in practice is the glue bond, not the lifter.

A slide-hammer bar for a sharper pull on a deeper dent, a rubber mallet with eight nylon tap-down tips for knocking a high spot back level, extra suction pads, a lot more tabs, and a bag to keep it in.
The tap-down set is the real reason to take it. Without one, an over-pull stays an over-pull.

Tools counted as tools, consumables counted as consumables. Where the maker publishes no figure, we say so.
Questions people ask
If the job in front of you is a door ding or two, the 31-piece has the three things that matter: lifter, glue gun, tabs. Take the 86-piece if you want the tap-down set and mallet — those are what let you knock a high spot back down after an over-pull, and that is the difference between a dent that is gone and one that is nearly gone.
No. Glue pulling lifts shallow, round dents. A crease has stretched metal along a line and needs a rod behind the panel. Buying a glue kit for a crease is the commonest way people end up disappointed with one.
Not if the paint is sound. The glue grips the clear coat and releases with alcohol. If the paint is already cracked or chipped in the dent, do not pull on it — it will come away with the tab.
Yes. Both kits here are the US-plug version — that is why we stock only these two of the seven the factory makes. The rest ship with a plug that is no use here.
A flat bar with two feet that bolts onto the same tabs. Where the bridge lifter winds a dent out slowly, the slide hammer gives it a sharp tug — better on deeper dents, easier to overdo.
The maker does not publish a tab count per kit and we are not going to guess from the photograph. What we can say is that tabs and glue sticks are the bulk of both numbers, and that they are a consumable — you will buy more.
Yes, if it takes 7 mm sticks. The glue in these kits is a PDR-specific hot melt; ordinary craft glue is softer and tends to let go mid-pull.
It is learnable in an afternoon on a scrap panel and frustrating on a good car the first time. Start with the smallest dent you have, use less glue than you think, and give the glue a full minute to go off before you pull.
