Denture Bit Holder Screwdriver Set — 28 Bits in a Teeth-Shaped Case, Stubby Handle, Optional Mini Ratchet
Regular price $24.95

A bit set with a sense of humor

Twenty-eight screwdriver bits, stored as teeth in a set of red dentures.

Open the jaws and the bits stand in the gums like teeth, fourteen above and fourteen below. A short, chunky screwdriver handle sits in the lower jaw, and in the ratchet version a mini ratchet rides in the upper one. Close it, and the whole kit is a set of red dentures on the bench — which is the point if it’s going to a dentist, a hygienist or anyone who enjoys a tool that gets a laugh.

Read this first: it is a joke of a case with a plain, working bit set inside.

The bits are ordinary hex-shank screwdriver bits for everyday screws — not a precision kit for phones or glasses. And the maker doesn’t print the bit sizes on anything we have seen, so we can’t list them. If you need a particular size, ask us before you order.

28 bits

Fourteen in each jaw

Stubby handle

Takes one bit at a time

Mini ratchet

In the ratchet version

85 × 58 × 73 mm

Closed case, 3.3 × 2.3 × 2.9 in

The two versions side by side: with the mini ratchet, and without it

Two versions

With or without the mini ratchet

Both come with the case, the 28 bits and the stubby handle. The ratchet version adds a small chrome ratchet with a bit hole in its head and a direction lever. A ratchet like this holds a bit in its head and turns it in short swings where a screwdriver can’t go in straight.

The maker shows the ratchet stored in the upper jaw, clipped on top of the closed case, and with its shank plugged into the handle. In their photo of the version without the ratchet, one slot is empty because its bit is in the handle — 28 bits either way.

Closed case 85 mm wide, 58 mm high and 73 mm deep; handle with the ratchet fitted 115 mm long

Size

Small enough for a drawer or a desk

Closed, the case measures 85 × 58 × 73 mm — about 3.3 × 2.3 × 2.9 in — by the maker’s figures.

With the ratchet fitted, the handle is 115 mm (4.5 in) long. The maker doesn’t give the handle on its own, so we don’t quote it.

Straight answers

Five things we would rather you knew now

Count on 28 bits. The maker calls the set “30-in-1”. In their photos, the ratchet version shows 28 bits in the case plus the handle and the ratchet; the version without the ratchet shows 27 bits in the case and one in the handle, with that bit’s slot empty.

We can’t list the bit sizes. No size is legible on any of the maker’s pictures. What we can see: slotted bits in several widths, cross-point bits (Phillips-type; we can’t tell Phillips from Pozidriv at that resolution) and security Torx bits with a hole in the center.

The magnet is the maker’s claim, not ours. Their listing says the handle holds bits magnetically. Their picture shows only the empty socket — nothing held by a magnet — and we haven’t tested a unit.

So is the steel. The listing says chrome vanadium. No bit in the pictures shows a legible stamp, so we don’t repeat it as fact.

We left out some of the maker’s pictures. One is a computer render with three handles (the kit has one); another is a collage of stock photos of people using other tools. Everything shown here is the maker’s photo of the kit itself.

Getting the most from it

Put each bit back in its tooth. Every slot in the gums holds one bit, so a gap shows you at a glance which one is missing.

Match the bit to the screw. A bit that wobbles in the recess slips and chews the head. Try the next size up.

Keep it away from small children. It looks like a toy, but the bits are small and pointed.

The kit with the mini ratchet, seen from above: case open, 28 bits around the rim, the ratchet in the upper jaw and the stubby handle in the lower jaw

Questions people ask

Before you order

Is it a toy?

No. It is a working screwdriver set in a novelty case. The bits are small and pointed, so keep it out of reach of young children.

Which bits are included?

28 bits: slotted in several widths, cross-point (Phillips-type) and security Torx with a center hole. The maker doesn’t publish the sizes. If you need a specific one, email us before you order.

What is the difference between the two versions?

The mini ratchet. Both have the case, the stubby handle and 28 bits by the maker’s photos.

Will my own bits fit the handle?

The handle takes hex-shank bits. The maker doesn’t state the socket size, so we can’t promise that a particular bit will fit.

Is the handle magnetic?

The maker says so. Their pictures don’t show it, and we haven’t tested one, so we don’t promise it.

Is it a good gift for a dentist?

It’s made to be one: a working bit set shaped like dentures. The maker doesn’t mention a gift box, so we don’t promise one.

Can I use it on outlets and switches?

Only with the power off at the breaker. The bits and the ratchet are bare metal, not insulated.
