Tool Waist Pouch & Work Belt — Oxford Pouch with Hammer Loop and Tape Clip

The walk back to the toolbox

Keep the fasteners on your hip.

Half the time lost on a job is walking — back to the bench for one more screw, back again for the driver you set down. This is an Oxford cloth pouch that rides on your belt and carries the small stuff with you: fasteners in the main pocket, drivers in the sleeves across the mouth, a hammer through the loop, a tape on the clip.

What goes in it

One deep pocket, and places for the things that fall out of it

The main compartment takes a fistful of screws, plugs and clips without them sorting themselves into the bottom corner of a trouser pocket. In front of it sit narrow sleeves sized for drivers, a pencil and a marker, so the tool you use every two minutes is not buried under the fasteners.

On the outside there is a loop for a hammer and a clip for a tape measure — the two things that are always in your other hand when you need both hands.

Pocket by pocket

1
Main compartment — 20 cm across the mouth, 11 cm deep at the base. This is the one that holds fasteners by the handful.
2
Sleeve row across the mouth — narrow slots about 3 cm wide for drivers, a pencil, a marker or a utility knife, standing upright where you can see them.
3
Front pocket with the tape clip — a flat outer pocket with the moulded tape-measure clip riveted straight through it, so the clip pulls against hardware rather than cloth.
4
A slim pocket on each side — the places pliers, a folding knife or a phone end up when your hands are full.
5
Hammer loop — a reinforced loop on the side, cut wide for a framing or claw hammer handle.
6
Moulded belt hanger on the back — hooks over the belt, with metal eyelets through the back panel taking the load.

Four parts, or four ready-made sets

Pick the part you are missing

This listing covers two pouch sizes and two belts, sold on their own or paired into a set. The pouches hang on a belt you already own, or on one of these. Read the option name before you order — a belt option is a belt on its own, with no pouch.

Mini tool pouch, front view

Mini pouch · TSK-25

19 × 25 cm. One main pocket, front sleeves for drivers, quick-hook hanger. The one to take when you are carrying a handful of screws and a driver, not a kit.

Small tool pouch with multiple front pockets, hammer loop and tape clip

Small pouch · TSK-24

25 cm tall on an 18.5 × 11 cm base, about 0.56 kg empty. More front pockets, the hammer loop and the tape clip, and one clip-on buckle in the box.

Padded work belt with quick-release buckle

Padded belt · TSK-41B

A wide belt with a padded back panel and a quick-release buckle. Worth it if the pouch is going to be loaded and on you all day.

Flat webbing work belt with quick-release buckle

Webbing belt · TSK-42

Flat webbing, same quick-release buckle, no padding. Lighter, thinner, and the cheaper way to hang a pouch on your waist.

Sets

Or take the whole rig at once

A pouch on its own still needs something to hang from. These four sets pair the parts that actually go together, ship as one order, and each one saves you about 15% against the same two pieces bought separately. Pick the set from the same dropdown as the single parts.

Light Rig set: mini tool pouch and webbing work belt

Light Rig

Mini pouch + webbing belt. The smallest way to get fasteners and a driver onto your waist.

Starter Rig set: small tool pouch and webbing work belt

Starter Rig

Small pouch + webbing belt. The everyday pairing: hammer loop, tape clip and a belt to carry them.

Two-Pouch Set: small tool pouch and mini tool pouch

Two-Pouch Set

Both pouches, no belt — for when you already wear one and want fasteners on one hip, tools on the other.

All-Day Rig set: small tool pouch and padded work belt

All-Day Rig

Small pouch + padded belt. The one to take if the pouch is loaded and stays on you for a full shift.

On and off

It hangs on the belt, not through it

The pouch hooks over a belt or a waistband rather than threading onto it, so it comes off when you sit in the van and goes back on when you get out. You do not have to unbuckle anything to move it round to the back, and you can wear it on whichever hip you reach with.

The TSK-24 comes with one clip-on buckle, so you can leave the hanging point on a belt and lift the pouch off it.

Both belts close with the same quick-release buckle: one squeeze off, one push on, no threading through a tongue. Both are adjustable webbing.

Where it earns its keep

Four jobs it saves you walking for

Hanging doors and cabinets

Hinges, screws and the driver stay with you on the step stool instead of on the floor two rooms away.

Drywall and fixings

Plugs in the main pocket, marker and tape where you can grab them one-handed.

Flat-pack and repairs at home

All the small hardware in one place, and nothing vacuumed up off the carpet afterwards.

Ladder and roof work

Climb once. The hammer rides in the loop and both hands stay on the stiles.

Straight answers

Three things we would rather you knew now

No tools are included. The hammer, screwdrivers and tape measure in the photographs are there to show what fits. You are buying the pouch, or the belt, and nothing else.

The hammer loop is generous. It is cut for a framing or claw hammer. A small finishing hammer with a slim handle can slide through it if you lean over — buyers have said so, and it is worth knowing before you trust it on a ladder.

It is a hip pouch, not a rig. One pouch on one side, for the job in front of you. If you need a full apron with a nail bag on each hip, this is not that.

Made of

Oxford cloth, double-stitched where it takes the weight

The body is Oxford cloth with a coated inner face, and the seams along the base and the belt hanger are stitched twice — those are the two places a loaded pouch pulls apart first. The front sleeves are reinforced at the mouth so they keep their shape after a few hundred insertions of a screwdriver.

The back panel carries metal eyelets rather than stitching alone, the tape clip is riveted through both layers, and the base is finished with a moulded trim so the corner that scrapes concrete is not raw cloth. The hardware — buckle, hanger, tape clip — is moulded plastic, which is what keeps an empty pouch down at half a kilo.

Looking after it

It will outlast the job if you empty it

Tip the grit out at the end of the week — sharp swarf left in the bottom is what wears a pouch through from the inside. Wipe the cloth with a damp rag and mild soap; do not put it in a washing machine, and do not put it near a heater to dry. If it gets soaked, empty it and stand it open until it is dry, so damp screws are not sitting in the corner.

Questions people ask

Before you order

Does it come with the hammer and screwdrivers?

No. The tools in the photographs show what the pouch is sized for. Every option here is either the pouch on its own or the belt on its own.

Will it fit the belt I already wear?

It hangs over a belt or a waistband rather than threading through it, so an ordinary work belt or jeans belt is fine. A very wide, very stiff belt is the one case where the hanger sits proud instead of flat.

Which pouch should I get?

Take the mini (TSK-25) if you carry fasteners and one or two drivers. Take the small (TSK-24) if you want the hammer loop, the tape clip and the extra front pockets — it is the one that behaves like a proper tool pouch.

What is in a set, and is it cheaper?

Each set is exactly the two items named in the option — nothing extra, and still no tools. Every set is about 15% cheaper than the same two pieces bought separately at their own prices, and it ships as one order rather than two.

What waist do the belts fit?

Both are adjustable webbing with a quick-release buckle, which covers the usual range of work waists. The maker does not publish a cut length, and we would rather not invent one — if the exact figure decides it for you, email us and we will get it from them before you order.

Left hip or right hip?

Either. The hanger is symmetrical, so you can move the pouch round to whichever side your reaching hand prefers, or swing it to the back when you are getting into a vehicle.

Can I hang two pouches on one belt?

Physically, yes — the belts are plain webbing and the hangers clip anywhere along them. Just remember each pouch is weight on one hip, and two loaded pouches on a flat webbing belt will pull. That is the case for the padded belt.

Can I wear the pouch without a belt at all?

It needs something to hang from. A trouser waistband works for light loads; once the pouch is full, a belt takes the weight far better and stops it dragging your waistband down.

Is it waterproof?

No. Oxford cloth shrugs off a splash and a light drizzle, but it is not a dry bag. If it gets soaked, empty it and let it dry open rather than leaving damp screws inside.

Can I put a cordless driver in it?

A compact 12 V driver sits in the main pocket head-down if the pouch is not already full of fasteners. A full-size 18 V drill is too tall and too heavy for a pouch this size.

How do I clean it?

Empty it, tip out the grit, then wipe it with a damp cloth and mild soap. Keep it out of the washing machine and away from direct heat — both will take the shape out of the coated cloth.
