Buy in bulk, actually keep it
Chicken thighs in a freezer bag turn grey at the edges in three weeks. Steak comes out with that dry, pale burn on one face. Berries collapse. The saving you made at the warehouse store quietly leaves through the freezer door. Pulling the air out is the whole fix — no air, no oxidation, no ice crystals forming on the surface of the meat.
Five buttons, no menus
Dry pulls hard and seals fast — right for coffee, nuts, cheese, dry-aged meat. Wet holds the seal bar longer so the extra moisture at the seam still bonds instead of leaving a weak channel that lets air back in a week later. That single choice is the difference between a bag that holds and a bag that puffs up in the freezer.
Seal closes a bag without pulling any air — for chips, bread, anything you do not want crushed. Rice is a gentler, longer pull for grains and powders, so they stay in the bag rather than getting drawn toward the pump. Stop cancels mid-cycle.
What it actually handles
The seal bar runs the full 30 cm (11.8″) width, so a whole flank steak or a wide tray of fish fits across rather than being cut down to suit the machine. Suction is rated at 65 kPa — enough to draw a bag tight around bone-in cuts and hard cheese.
Meal prep for the week, portioning a Costco run, freezing garden produce, prepping bags for sous vide, keeping coffee from going flat. Also works for things that are not food — documents, batteries, first-aid kits, anything you want kept dry.
The part that kills most sealers
Sealing raw chicken pulls a little juice into the channel. In a sealer with a fixed tray, that dries in place, starts to smell, and eventually you stop using the machine. Here the tray unclips and rinses.
The control surface is a flat sealed panel rather than rubber buttons, so a wipe with a damp cloth is the whole cleaning routine.
Choose your bundle
A machine with no bags is a paperweight until you buy some. Fifty bags is a bit over three months for a household portioning a weekly shop, and it is the pack we stock — with the machine, or on its own when the first batch runs out. You do not have to buy a second sealer to get bags from us.
Pick this if you already have embossed bags or rolls at home.
The machine and enough bags to get through the first few months. This is the one most people want.
A refill pack with no machine in it. The same embossed bags as the bundle above — order these when you run low.

Good to know
Embossed vacuum bags and rolls — the kind with a textured or diamond pattern on one side. Those channels are what let the air travel out. Most vacuum rolls sold in US supermarkets are embossed and will work. Smooth bags and zip-top freezer bags will not.
Yes — that is one of the things it is good at. Seal the portion, cook from the bag. Bear in mind you are heating a plastic bag in water, so use bags rated for it and follow your circulator’s temperature guidance.
Freeze it first, then seal the frozen block. Any external sealer will pull loose liquid up the bag and into the machine, which is how pumps die. Marinating meat is fine — it is standing liquid that causes trouble.
Because it means you can buy rolls instead of pre-cut bags. Rolls are considerably cheaper per bag, and you cut each one to the size of what you are actually sealing rather than wasting half a bag on a chicken breast. Slide the blade across, the roll cuts straight.
It depends entirely on the food and your freezer, so we are not going to print a number on it. What vacuum sealing reliably does is stop freezer burn, which is surface dehydration caused by air contact, and slow the oxidation that turns fat rancid and meat grey. Anyone quoting you an exact multiplier is guessing.
It is a small vacuum pump running for a few seconds per bag. Comparable to a hand blender, and over quickly. We have not measured it and will not quote a decibel figure.
No, and this matters. Removing air slows spoilage but it does not sterilise anything, and some bacteria prefer a low-oxygen environment. Sealed food still needs refrigerating or freezing, and normal use-by judgement still applies. It is a storage tool, not a preservation guarantee.

What we can take back: unused items in their original, undamaged packaging. Adhesives, sealants and lubricants cannot be returned once opened; the same goes for any item with a broken safety seal. That is a safety and hazardous-goods rule, not a preference.
Who pays: return shipping is paid by you, except when the item arrived damaged, faulty or was not what you ordered — then we cover it and refund the original shipping too.
Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 business days of the return reaching us. Full returns policy.
